Microsoft Is Targeting iMac With Surface Studio All-In-One Computer

Microsoft will compete with Apple's iMac as it has announced the surface studio which is an all in one Windows10 computer.

This was revealed at a media event on 26th of October. This device is all Aluminum with 28-inch touch screen and it is 12.5mm thick, having a resolution higher than Ultra HD.

The desktop monitor of this computer is the thinnest till date according to Microsoft. The display resolution is 63% greater than an Ultra HD television which reaches up to 13.5 million pixels. The company says that the pixel density is 192 per inch and it is a one-for-one match for printed paper.

This exactly means that the printed A4 sheet of paper is of the same size as the size of each page of Word document on the screen.

There is a possibility to tilt down the Surface Studio display drawing on with the stylus as the display is hinged on two chrome arms.

There shall be an introduction to the new accessory through the studio which would be named as Surface Dial. This can be placed on the screen so as to control the various aspects of user interface. The user can work with the stylus on one hand while dialing the other.

This is a true color technology by Microsoft and the accuracy is perfect. The Surface Studio shall be advantageous to video and image editors as the color profile can be easily adjusted.

There is an i7 processor on this computer and RAM is 32GB. The storage capacity can be maximum 2TB. This Computer is equipped with HD camera and integrated microphone array for video calls. Availability of Surface pen stylus will enhance writing on the screen.

This computer will be priced $2929 to $4199 depending on the specification and the users can reorder it right now as its availability shall be limited during Christmas.
