'Married At First Sight' Season 4 finally came to a close with its remaining two couples revealing their decisions whether to stay married or divorce each other.
After six weeks of marriage, the husbands and wives had to finally give in their decision, although they seemed unsure till the last minute. Here is how the finale turned out.
Lillian Vichez and Tom Wilson
Lillian and Tom were rooted by many as one of the strongest couple in Season 4 of 'Married At First Sight.' However, the couple had been experiencing a strain in their relationship lately with respect to certain differences.
In the final episode, Lillian looked nervous as she suspected that with recent arguments having been escalated between her and Tom, he might want a divorce from her after all. She confided in her friend Roxanne that though she wanted to stay married to Tom, the differences in their lifestyle could be a hindrance.
The night before the decision, Tom and Lillian made s'mores in the backyard and Tom gifted Lillian a clock to remind of their times together.
In the final day of the decision, the couple met pastor Cal Roberson and communication expert Rachel Dealto to give in their decisions. The result being both Lillian and Tom want to stay married. "I know I have your heart and I'm going to take care of it," said Tom to Lillian when they reached home.
Sonia Granados and Nick Pendergrast
In the final episode, Sonia was seen wearing her wedding ring back again and moving back in with Nick. They worked on their vision board together and talked about future. They both want kids. Nick especially noticed they both are on the same page.
However, in a dinner with friends, Nick admitted he isn't emotionally connected to Sonia and is still learning to be a spouse while Sonia confided in her friends that she alternated between being into Nick and being sick of him.
In the final decision day, the couple pronounced their decisions to Roberson and Dealto. They want to stay married. They admitted they have work to do, but that they were also hopeful about the future as they toasted to marriage and love.
