Bethesda is all set to release new mods for its 2015 masterpiece Fallout 4. Fallout 4 was one of the most popular games of 2015 and was certainly one of the best RPGs of all time. Fans of the game would be enthralled to know that the studio has green signalled a mod update, in collaboration with Sony.

Sony and Bethesda have partnered up for a series of updates and mods for the game and have given the gaming world crucial details about the PS4 mods.

Express reported that the studio will be announcing the space and system requirements for the mod in the near future. Express.uk also reports that there is a flipside to the new mods, which will be only applicable to the assests inside the game. As such, the mod would not be allowed on outside assets.

There has been a long waiting period for these mods, as Sony and Bethesda had been having disputes. Thankfully, compromises were made to see the greater good, and this has made the Fallout 4 PS4 mods possible. The studio also tells us that they would be updating the game for PC and Xbox One for the mods.

The modding community is diverse and there are a huge number of modders available on the three major platforms. Players can use the Creation Kit for creating PS4 mods, and even for another platform. However, the Bethesda Creation Kit is only available to the PC community and not to the other two platforms. The creation kit can be downloaded through Bethesda.net launcher.  

Apart from the new mods, there are rumors of a post Nuka World DLC, as the Fallout 4 DLC hasn't been completed. There is also the possibility of an entire new Fallout game in the works, instead of a post-Nuka World DLC.

Fraghero, which is a tech website reports that Ryan Alonsio, the voice for Deacon in the series accidentally let it slip that there was a new Fallout game in the Studio's pipeline, before taking the comment down.  

Whatever be the case, fans of the series will be looking forward to the new surprises the studio brings.
