Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, the lead pair of the popular Korean military romance drama, 'Descendants Of The Sun" have the grapevine buzzing about their alleged love affair.

Audience have been loving the on-screen chemistry of the duo in 'Descendant Of The Sun' with many reports suggesting that the actors are dating each other off the set as well. Pictures of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo looking very much like a real life couple were also released online, sparking rumors of romance between the two.

Further rumors were ignited when the two were reported travelling together in Europe to celebrate Song Joong Ki's birthday.

However, the on-screen couple had remained mum about their relationship status until now. Both actors' agencies offered a few words of clarification on their relationship status.

"It's definitely not true. It's ridiculous. We're just laughing about it," the agencies told the media, denying there was any kind of romance involved between the two actors.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo also added that they were very much aware about theie alleged romance rumors.

Representing Hye Kyo and himself, Song Joong Ki said, " Hey Kyo and I are both aware of those rumors, and we are really enjoying them. We even talk about them during company dinners. I think that the viewers think that because of the overwhelming positive response that the drama has gotten."

Meanwhile, Joong Ki and Hye Kyo grabbed headlines for another reason. The on-screen couple won awards at the 2016 Korean Pop Culture and Arts Awards, an award ceremony recognized by the Korean government to the most important entertainers of the year. Moreover, one report even claimed that the duo have managed to transform the entire landscape of Korean entertainment and culture, with their hit series.
