Tim Clancy's The Division News And Rumors, A New DLC In The Making?
Tom Clancy's The Division was released worldwide on 8 March, 2016 by published Ubisoft. Since then the game has gone to become one of the highest-grossing titles of 2016. The game has generated more than $330 million globally, thus becoming one of Ubisoft's biggest revenue games of the year.
The Division's 1.4 patch went online this week and developers are already trying to find ways to improve the 1.4 patch for a seamless experience. This follows events of massive backlash from the gaming community during the beta run on public test servers.
Gamers all around the world are already speculating what the next moves of Ubisoft would be: a new 1.5 update or "Tom Clancy's The Survival"?
The Division's 1.4 Patch
The 1.4 patch has been released across all platforms and there are speculations that a new DLC titled "Tom Clancy's The Survival" would be up next for download. During the run of the patch, developers at Ubisoft Massive discussed several pointers about the new patch.
In an Ubisoft blog, developers foreshadowed what the patch brings to the table. The patch includes a number of fixes that improves almost all the aspects of the core experience of "The Division". Little updates have been provided to the UI to different stats about weapons and gear. Updates have also been made to the loot drops and activities like hunting down HVTs (High Value Targets). The update introduced World Tiers where gamers can select the level of enemy AI and the loot it drops.
'Tom Clancy's Survival'
It has been largely speculated that Ubisoft would be releasing a new DLC for the masses. The DLC may be titled "Tom Clancy's The Survival". So far, there haven't been any rumors disclosing the release date for the DLC. However, GamingBolt has noted that the DLC would be tested through the same public test servers that were used for the 1.4 patch.
The DLC would be up for grabs when Ubisoft releases it.
