iOS 10.1 Jailbreak Release Date, News: Pangu Might Release Jailbreak Soon; What Alternatives Users Have?

Apple has recently launched iOS 10.1 along with their flagship products including iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. As anticipated, with a new update, new jailbreak tools are all set to be release, which will allow users to install apps outside of the App store.

Unfortunately, the jailbreak tool for the iOS 10.1 is yet to be released by Pangu, because they expect 10.2 to be released shortly after, reported Neurogadget.

Thus, although fans have been eagerly waiting for an update, no release date has been announced from Pangu yet.

Meanwhile, iPhone users who are looking for a jailbreak version can use the new Tinyumbrella software to downgrade to iOE 9.3 for which there's a jailbreak available, reported  iTech Post. After downgrading, iOS users can use Cydia to get the apps outside of Apple app store.

In addition, Apple users who do not want to try out Cydia, can try Mojo. One of the biggest advantages of Mojo is that it does not require jailbreak. So it can be used for iOS 10.1 and upcoming versions too. However, on the negative side, not all apps of Cydia can be found on Mojo. Thus Mojo is not an alternative of Cydia presently.

However, considering all the factors, Mojo can be considered the best alternative for iOS after Cydia. Notably, there is no jailbreaking tools available right now, and thus it seems that iPhone users will have to wait to find a solution of this.
