Samsung Galaxy S8 AI Assistant May Be Named 'Bixby'

Samsung will use the word "Bixby" for operating the voice recognition system across all digital platforms. The company has already filed for a trademark of this word in South Korea. This name is similar to the companies' Al assistant and according to speculations this device will be unveiled on board as Galaxy S8 till 2017.

As per details from Galaxy Club, the brand name is likely to be used as computer software for personal information management and also for computer application software for tablet computers, portable computers, Smartphones and mobile telephones.

In fact, this brand name shall be used for software's that are used to operate voice recognition systems and software's on computers which enable hands-free use of mobile phone through voice recognition.

Galaxy S8 may include a feature called artificial intelligence. Speculations about the filing of the trademark do not reveal whether the voice assistant is the same which is being used for the S8 and which may be available for other Samsung devices in later stages.

Information in yet not available whether Viv Labs will create this artificial recognition system though this artificial intelligence start-up created Siri which was later acquired by Samsung.

Apart from the Al system assistant the other features of Galaxy S8 may include an improved camera, processor and a slick design which may be different from its predecessors. According to rumors this phone may feature a 4K display. This device will be unveiled in February 2017.

Galaxy S8 is going to be an incredible phone and this device may represent the company's comeback. After the Note 7 recall, Samsung really went through some serious movements in history. The Galaxy S8 is likely to repair the damage suffered by the company.

A move towards an improved Al assistant is not at all surprising because of the increasing popularity of this technology. In fact, companies like Apple and Google are working hard to improve their own assistant services.
