Season 3 Episode 7: The Red Queen

Jim Gordon gets his fair share of hallucinations in this episode of Gotham. Jarvis Tetch has his mind set on something bigger aside from wreaking havoc in Gotham City. He wants the entire city to be poisoned with his dead sister's blood. He can do this easily if Jim Gordon is out of the picture. Thus, he gives him a dose of Red Queen, the powerful hallucinogen that will take every bit of mental will from Jim to fight it off.

You can see Gordon becoming Gotham's Batman. Jim is struggling to fight off his many demons. This is necessary in order to bring Gordon back into the GCPD, and they were successful at doing that. In the meantime, the encounter with his dad was touching. Focus will be on the shadowed figure's ring which resembled Gordon's father. So could his dad have something to do with the Court of Owls?

Bruce and Selina are still too young for us to figure out where their relationship is headed. Bruce isn't Batman yet, and won't be any time soon. But it will be interesting to find out how the whole thing turns out.

Season 3 Episode 8: Blood Rush

The synopsis for the episode says that Barnes starts to feel the effects of a recent incident and starts going mad. Nygma is out of his depth in his relationship with Isabella. Carmine Falcone, on the other hand, throws Lee and Mario an engagement party.

Finally, James Gordon gets his GCPD badge and this looks like the perfect time to get into the GCPD. In the teaser we can see Lee and Mario's engagement party but one of his guest tears off his face. Everyone else can be seen having a great time. So perhaps Barnes was invited to the event but is hallucinating and going mad. Meanwhile, Ed is surprised to find Isabella in the mirror and he's not happy about it. In episode 7, she already accepted Ed for who he was. Is there a possibility that she's hiding something?
