‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 11 Will Not Star Kaley Cuoco And Johnny Galecki?
'The Big Bang Theory' was rumored to end after Season 10 Episode 6 because of Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Johnny Galecki's (Dr. Leonard Hofstadter) demand for salary increase. However, it has been confirmed that the series will return for Season 11, but the new season may not have Cuoco and Galecki reprise their roles.
It is said that Cuoco and Galecki together with Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) receive $1 million per episode. There were rumors that the showrunners of 'The Big Bang Theory' were making some changes in the storyline so that they could let go of the actors since they couldn't meet their demand of increase in their talent fee.
However, recent reports suggested that Cuoco is on the brink of termination while Galecki is said to be in the process of renewal of his contract along with other cast members. Some believe that Galecki may leave soon as the show would not be the same without Cuoco playing Penny in it.
There are lots of speculations on the reason why Cuoco is leaving the show. Rumors on the actress leaving the show started when she reportedly said that extending the season could 'be expensive.' While talent fee is one suggested reason, the other reason prompting the actress to leave the show could be the attention given to the character of co-star Melissa Rauch as Bernadette and her husband Howard Holowitz expecting a baby in Season 10. Rumors indicate that Cuoco is jealous of this affair and the only way to have her in Season 11 is for her character, Penny to get pregnant with husband Leonard.
Amidst all these rumors, Cuoco and Galecki have remained mum and are yet to confirm their reprisal of roles or the absence of it in Season 11 of 'The Big Bang Theory.'
