Niantic is now planning to roll out a nearby Pokémon tracking feature in Pokémon Go and it would happen in new testing areas. This feature will surely be released worldwide.

Sources from Niantic say that the company will continue to review community feedback after that change would be made and finally this feature shall be rolled out to more areas.

With the help of the new tracker, the nearby Pokémon gets associated with a picture and it is of the nearest Pokestop. While tapping this feature on the bird's view eye map it shows the path to the trainer, where to go so as to claim the monster.

Fans that had been downloading the game since July, tracking Pokémon in Pokémon Go had been a hot topic for them. In fact, people used to rely upon third party trackers, but unfortunately, Niantic shut them down.

Slowly Niantic is trying to roll out its own tracker. Initially, it shall be tested for a small number of people. Maybe the company is able to make a tracker which will satisfy everyone. Fans are still desperate to know about various other features.

There are no legal or game design issues which hinder the feature from coming and Niantic will definitely introduce a real time Pokémon finder in the game. In the beginning, this feature will be introduced in cities like Arizona, Seattle, Washington state and rest of SF Bay. Eventually, this feature shall be introduced in other countries.

The reasons behind the slow rollout are possibly server performance and stability consideration. This nearby feature was removed from the day of early launch because of the triggering of server issues and this happened because of Pokémon discovery feature.

Currently, this feature is available in few parts of United States and it is too difficult to estimate when Niantic is rolling it out worldwide.
