With Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Pro both Microsoft and Sony have reached to the next level as far as the gaming consoles are concerned. The PS4 Pro was released in September but it will start shipping from November 10 and it is available for preorders.  On the other hand, the Xbox One S came out in June.

Xbox One S claims that it is the only console capable of giving 4k video streaming.  The dynamic 4k system can be explained through 4K Blu-Ray and HDR. Its storage capacity begins from 500GB to 2TB and this console is considered 40% smaller than Xbox One.

The PS4 PRO also comes with 1TB storage playing 4K video and HDR but unfortunately, it does not support 4k Blue Ray disks which is a major cause of disappointment for many of the PlayStation 4 fans.

Talking about the processor and the RAM, Xbox One S is supporting 1.75 GHz ,AMD 8 core processor, and the RAM is 8GB DDR3. This would definitely provide a smooth performance when gaming. Its graphics are AMD clocked at 914 MHz.

The PS4 Pro processor is much powerful if compared to the Xbox One S.  The PS4 Pro CPU is x86-64 AMD Jaguar. This Octa Core processor is clocked at 2.1GHz and the memory is GDDR5 8GB +1GB DRAM. The graphics card is equipped with MD Radeon based Graphics which is clocked at 911 MHz capable of providing an excellent performance of 4.2 TFLOPS.

In terms of performance, the PS4 Pro outshines the Xbox One S. It is almost clear that Xbox One S is simply the up gradation of Xbox One. On the other hand the performance or PS4 Pro's performance is double than the PS4.

According to Newseveryday Microsoft is coming with a new gaming consolenamed as Xbox Scorpio which shall be released in 2017. This console will have 6 TFLOPS GPU but until its release the PS4 Pro is the winner.
