Angelina Jolie Refuses To Give Up Custody Demands Despite Brad Pitt Being Cleared Of Child Abuse
A dramatic turn has taken place in the highly publicized split of the power couple, Angelina Jolie, 41 and Brad Pitt, 52. Even though Pitt was cleared of child abuse by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) on Wednesday night for the infamous plane incident with Maddox, Jolie is planning to come with evidence to prove he was abusive towards the children, TMZ reported.
Sources also revealed to The Sun that Jolie and her team are hell-bent on trying to discredit Pitt in order to stop him from getting joint custody. It can be recalled that on Nov. 4, Pitt filed for a joint custody of his six kids two months post Jolie filed for divorce with her request for sole physical custody of the kids. TMZ reported that Jolie is not backing down from her original wish as she reportedly thinks that her kids would be 'at risk' if their dad would get joint custody.
Meanwhile, a temporary agreement is in place which gives Jolie full custody and Pitt, visitation rights. However, after the decision reached by DCFS, it is now time to find a permanent solution. For the moment, neither of the two seem to be backing down.
As per HollywoodLife lawyer, things look to be in favor of Pitt now that he's been cleared in the investigation. This means that Jolie will have to produce solid evidence to revert the decision in her favor.
Pitt, who initially had pulled out of promotion events, attended the premiere of his movie, 'Allied' on Wednesday night. The star ditched his wedding ring, posing alongside his co-star in the film, Marion Cotillard, who was subjected to rumors of an on-set affair with Pitt. She, however, denied any involvement on her part in the Brangelina divorce.
