'House Of Cards' Season 5 Set As Final Season? Underwood's Demise A Protest Against Trump Victory?

Needless to say, a lot of people were dismayed over Trump's victory during the recent presidential election. Even the fate of House of Cards Season 5 will be affected by this latest turnout. If the rumors are true that Frank Underwood's persona is Trump-inspired and he would be written off for good, then this is really something fans should watch out for.

One after another celebs took to social media to voice out their disgust, dismay, depression, and suicidal tendencies over the result of the presidential election. Beau Willimon, creator of the series was definitely one of them. His Twitter posts clearly reflected his views about Trump's win and these got viewers thinking if it will have any effect on the season 5 series.

Perhaps the show's cancellation is a bit far-fetched for now, but Underwood's fate may experience a dark twist soon. Speculations are going around that this is highly possible considering Willimon's true feelings against Trump. There's also that theory that Frank will never see the light of day again. His love-hate relationship with his wife Claire may finally result in his demise. It was rumored that Claire wanted him dead so she could nab the presidential slot. While Frank is rumored to be created after the persona of Donald Trump, Claire on the other hand mimics Hillary Clinton. Aren't they a perfect combination? Thus, the more reason fans believe Willimon will definitely take a blow on Trump on season 5 per International Business Times.

House of Cards Season 5 is one of Netflix's goldmine as it has been critically and commercially acclaimed. It has received nothing but awards the past four seasons so fans are in the look out of what's to come when it returns next year. Let's just hope they'd still come up with an amazing show regardless of the nation's current political atmosphere.
