Samsung Galaxy S8 with AI

Samsung Electronics Ltd told that another flagship mobile from their bow is yet to release in the market and the vital feature that will be incorporated in it is Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is the Samsung Galaxy S8 Smartphone which will have AI digital assistant. It has acquired a California-based firm named Viv Labs, which developed the Apple's voice assistant SIRI.

S8 is expected to have AI of Bixby. Bixby is software, deployed for managing personal data or information and some other stuff. Viv offers natural language processing abilities for AI given through voice commands by the user.

Samsung took this step as its competitors Google and Apple has already got digital voice assistant on their devices. Apple devices are powered with voice assistant SIRI and Google have its personal Google assistant on its devices.

With Samsung's Galaxy Note7 reputation and image of the firm has got a bad reputation, it is trying to captivate people with its next series and is entirely focused on it. As it incorporates AI, Samsung achieves the first step in attracting customers towards it after the Note 7 debacle.

Expected Growth

Samsung is expecting that its Smartphone momentum will increase with this step and may fetch profit beyond $5.4 billion. Even analysts and investors are of the same opinion that South Korea-based Company will revive its earnings and get its customers back to them.

However, Samsung has not yet confirmed about the services type it would offer through AI assistant. It will surely allow customers to utilize third party apps and also helpful in the hands-free use of mobile.

Is It A Strategy?

Many companies like Apple, Google, and Amazon are turning themselves as per the customer needs and are gearing up for the new products. Samsung came up with AI digital assistant for its Galaxy S8. The price of the smartphone will be around 639 Pounds. It seems that Samsung will differentiate its devices by adapting to AI in all categories of its products, mobiles, and other electronic home appliances.
