Dishonored 2 was recently released, and if you haven't played the first game, this guide will teach you about the different play styles and the awards come with each kind of play style. Granted, the game is a different kind of game. Each level is cleverly created and encourages change depending on the style of play.

Stealthy or Aggressive?

Most people love to play stealthy, and in Dishonored 2, a game which heavily relies on stealth, fans of stealth would find it endearing. The game allows players to make use of the Blink feature, which enables the player to teleport short distances quickly. It isn't easy either, for Dishonored 2 has a balanced sense of pace, where players are not rushed through areas teeming with oppressive forces.

The game has varying levels of difficulty, making it just the right amount of entertaining, which wouldn't make it boring if the player is playing the game for too long.

Aggressiveness is also allowed in Dishonored 2, and this style of play changes the story accordingly. If players are using only this, it would become difficult in the end, and the game punishes mistakes brutally.

Chaos Level

Everything is connected within the game, and the decisions the player makes and the style of play he takes, has long term effects on the game and its plots. If the player goes on a killing spree, keeping the bodies visible, making himself and his position known to all the enemies, they would act accordingly. Players would encounter more enemies on a greater alert. This in turn makes things difficult and the player has to dial things down and opt for a quieter style of play.

The chaos level doesn't always define aggressiveness, as the player can be both stealthy and brutal at the same time. The player can also be aggressive and use nonlethal weapons to wipe enemies out. The lesser the kills, the lesser the difficulty.

Merciful and Shadow Achievement

The shadow achievement can only be unlocked in Dishonored 2 if the player is never seen by enemies. This is applicable for all the levels, and this increases the difficulty to many times, as the player has to wade through invisible zones and measure each kill. If the bodies are never detected, the player is in a safe spot. Doing this correctly unlocks Ghost. Never killing a person brands the player as Merciful and enables him to get the Clean Hands achievement.

Clockwork soldiers, blood flies and animals aren't considered as people so killing them won't make a difference.
