Apple Inc is exploring the world of wearable smart glass headsets similar to Google Glass. The company has been in talks with potential suppliers for materializing its project idea on AR and VR. Apple has also been recruiting AR and VR experts till September, who have set work on a secret project to put these technologies to the best innovative use.

According to reports from Bloomberg Apple's wearable headset would show images, along with other information with the help of Augmented Reality, where digital information is imposed into user's real world.

Apple Explores Augmented Reality

According to Apple's Chief Executive Tim Cook, Augmented reality has great potential in the coming days and the company may step into that space in the future. However, he did not confirm on whether Apple will be making Wearable Glass Gears. He said 'We are high on AR for the long run. We think there are great things for customers and a great commercial opportunity.'

Apple is testing near-eye glasses

It is important to note that Apple has ordered a small number of near-eye displays for testing the possibilities of AR powered Eye-Glasses, but has not purchased enough large scale production, the report added.

Expected to be Apple's Greatest Tech-Venture

The new product is expected to be one of the greatest technological ventures in the market. Similar to this idea, was Google's Glasses, a device received plenty of attention when it was launched in 2012. However, it was a failure attempt due to its awkward appearance and privacy concerns over video recording.

With Virtual Reality headsets like Google's Daydream View, Facebook's Ocular VR and Samsung VR Gear already ruling the market this new venture into the AR space will pose a tough competition to the existing production with high-end tech features.
