'The Flash' Season 3 Episode 6 was titled, 'Shade.' In the episode, Wally had his speedster fate dangled before him, Caitlin confided her secret and a frightening new threat surfaced, TVLine reported.

Here's a quick recap of what happened in 'Shade.'

Wally tells Joe about the Kid-Flash-themed speedster dreams he's been having,which worries Joe since this is exactly what happened to Magenta and other Flashpoint villains. H.R. suggests they lock Wally up in the pipeline until they figure out a plan to stop Alchemy. Despite Joe's objections, Wally agrees to be locked.

Meanwhile, Caitlin confides in Cisco that she has cold powers. She asks Cisco to vibe her and tell her if she turns into Killer Frost. While vibing, Cisco not only sees her turn into Killer Frost but he sees himself, in full vibe mode, fighting Killer Frost in a forest. He first hesitates to tell Caitlin but then he comes out clean with her later on in the episode. In fact, he also shares Caitlin's secrets with the rest of the team which infuriates Caitlin.

In spite of Wally being locked in the pipeline, Alchemy is able to mess with his mind creating great pain to an extent that Iris unlocks the door. Wally tries to escape but Iris knocks him down with a punch. Seeing no other way to stop Alchemy from coming after Wally, Team Flash decide to use Wally as a bait. They accompany Wally to Alchemy's lair inside an abandoned subway station.

Alchemy offers to give Wally his powers back while several of his acolytes start filling the room. The Flash and SWAT team then burst onto the scene to take Alchemy down. The Flash struggles against Alchemy philosopher's stone but then he eventually succeeds in subduing him.

Before they can unmask him, however, a blue streak of light enters the room and starts killing everyone in sight. The Flash takes off after it while Wally picks up the philosopher's stone that had been calling to him and becomes encased in a cocoon. The Flash then comes face to face with his speedster foe: Savitar.The episode ends with the Flash struggling in Savitar grip.
