Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo star Ji Soo admitted in a recent interview his liberal dating preferences. He said he did date older women before and added he doesn't mind dating women five years his senior.

In an interview with All Kpop he said he really dated an older woman in the past and in spite of this they were good friends. He said he doesn't mind dating someone even if it's a five-year age gap. If the age difference is too much, he thinks that he'll become very rational. He believes he'll handle it better if he becomes instinctive rather than rational.

Ji Soo is also used to working with older ladies in the dramas he previously starred in . Back in 2015, he was catapulted to stardom when he was in Angry Mom. He played Go Bok Dong who was a delinquent student who had a big crush on Jo Kang Ja played by Kim See Sun. She, on the other hand, was a mother pretending to be a high school student to stop her daughter from getting bullied. In the JTBC drama Fantastic he played the role of Kim Sang Wook who was a young lawyer who had feelings on Baek Sul who was the wife of a congressman and owner of his working establishment. Eventually, he resigns and helps Baek Sul get a divorce from her unfaithful husband, as published by iTechPost.

When it comes to dating he thinks it's best if he and the girl were of the same age or at least have a one year age difference. Ji Soo will be starring in the upcoming drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon in 2017. He'll be sharing the spotlight with Park Bo Young and ZE:A's Park Hyung Sik. Ji Soo was also adored playing the role of the 14th Prince Wang Jung in the hit epic series Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
