It is a well-known fact that "The Sims 4" game is a bug littered disaster. Hence, fans are waiting for "The Sims 5" looking out for something better this time. However, EA and Maxis have been apprehensive about releasing "The Sims 5" anytime sooner.

Repeated unresolved bugs in "The Sims 4"

According to a report by Parent Herald, gamers' are no longer enthusiastic towards "The Sims 4: City Living" as the new DLC has been constantly reported of giving out a lot of trouble in the game.

Also the ideas on expansion of the new urban in "The Sims 4" has vanished into thin air as complaints started piling up on the internet. Gamers are however looking forward to "The Sims 5"

Players report issues even after update

A recent update of the game for the upcoming DLC though said to have addressed certain issues are as also having trouble. For a long time, Fans have been looking forward for announcements and updates on "The Sims 5". The fourth title under "The Sims" franchise called "The Sims 4: City Living" was released on Sept. 2, 2014 and the next version is yet to be released.

Speculations on "The Sims 5"

A lot of fans have been feeling that now is the apt time for "The Sims 5" to arrive. They have also been requesting EA and Maxis to consider an upgrade. However, it seems that the game maker is still skeptical about the production of the fifth installment due to some rumors and issues. Nevertheless, speculations have been around for a while now, that "The Sims 5" though delayed shall be out before 2019 while a few say that "The Sims 4" will be the last in the game series. EA and Martin have not confirmed or expressed their thoughts on their plans about "The Sims 5".

However, in 2014, EA tweeted "By the time it comes time to start work on 'The Sims 5,' maybe we can do that - no promises, though.", letting the fans hope for "The Sims 5" to be out soon for real.

It is certainly doubtful of the game to be released by 2019 as makers have not even started the production process. It is also speculated that "The Sims 5" will not happen until "The Sims 4" shall reach the targeted sales level. With "The Sims 4" having grown cold among the players its likeliness to boost sales is near to zero. Hence, it is very unlikely that the players shall get yet another version of the game. "The Sims 5" will mostly not happen at all, says reports.
