‘Girl Meets World’ Season 4 Update: Renewal Confirmed? Blanchard & Carpenter Back Again With Disney!
Good news awaits "Girl Meets World" fans as the popular Disney series has been renewed for season 4 in 2017. This definitely provides celebratory opportunity for Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, and if rumors are believable, they are doing it wholeheartedly.
Although fans have been ecstatic after hearing the same, yet, there has been no official confirmation from Blanchard & Carpenter's crew or Disney itself, reported Gamenguide.
Incidentally, the rumors come after 50,906 fans have signed a petition in favor of continuation of the series on Change.org. The petition outlines how the fourth season might be a turning point of the show and can explore more mature topics. Previous episode of the show was restricted by Disney keeping the younger audiences in mind.
Meanwhile, it has been rumored that if the show remains, then the cast might change to be consistent with the theme of the popular teenager show. However, if the storyline was modified and shows that the story continues beyond high school, then the original cast might be retained.
Although Blanchard & Carpenter has not released any official statement yet on the situation, yet Blanchard, in an interview with She Knows expects the show to continue after the third season.
"We are hoping for a Season 4, obviously, because we want to continue our story, and I feel like it's an important story to tell," said Blanchard.
The series "Girl Meets World had started and June 2014 and since then it has come a long way. The sequel to "Boy Meets World", which ran for seven years on ABC, the show has managed to capture viewers' attention time and again
