One of the best smartphones brands of this era-Google and OnePlus. Pixel XL, Google's flagship product, was launched in October 2016 with eye-popping specs, whereas OnePlus is yet to launch OnePlus (OP) 3T in November 2016 in the US & UK markets. While both smartphones have accommodated latest technologies, but the key differentiator comes in specs, features, and pricing.

Pixel XL and OP 3T are having 5.5" display with unified aluminum metal body and similar in size as well. Pixel XL (168 gms) is slightly heavier than OP 3T(158 gms) and both powered by the almost same battery. Though both have fast recharging options, OP 3T charges faster than Pixel XL. The display resolution of Pixel XL with 2560 x 1440 (534 ppi) is 33% sharper compared to OP 3T with 1920 X1080 (401 ppi). 

When it comes to hardware, OP 3T scoring a bit higher over Pixel XL. Pixel XL & OP 3T are powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core 2.15 processor and Snapdragon 821 quad-core 2.35 processor respectively. OP 3T delivers punchy performance with its 6GB RAM and 64 GB/ 128Gb storage options while Pixel XL packed with only 4GB RAM and 32GB & 128GB storage. Pixel XL is designed with 12.3 MP front and 8 MP rear camera. Here too, OP 3T score high with it's zippy 16 MP front and 16 MP rear cameras. Additionally, OP 3T boasts with auto-focus and image stabilization features which Pixel XL lacks. 

While the biggest let down comes in the software, with OP 3T coming out of the box with Android Marshmallow, customized to Oxygen OS , when Pixel was launched with Android Nougat 7.1 latest version. This is the biggest differentiator between the two devices. And Google devices are the first ones to receive latest android updates.

The key differentiator, OP3T is being sold at $439, which is almost 50% lesser than Pixel XL sold at a premium price of $769. So, if one compares performance and brand, Pixel XL fares well. If one looks for a smartphone that fits their pocket with average performance, they may vote for OP 3T
