Announced in Jun 2016, Apple iOS 10 was launched in September 2016 with a lot of expectations from Apple fans. Of Course, it has drawn the attention not just fans but other communities as well with its bedazzling features.  Apple has also released iOS 10.1 updates and is working on to release another higher version iOS 10.2 shortly.

Many teams are working to jailbreak iOS 10 to accrue the advantage of low price with the jailbroken iPhones. Pangu is one such team incessantly working on all Apple operating systems released earlier to date. It has listed downloadable applications on its official website to jailbreak right from iOS8 to iOS 9, except iOS10, which they said they are working on as per iDigitalTimes.

Recently, the Pangu team has demonstrated iOS 10 beta 1 jailbreak at Mosec 2016, at a security conference in Beijing. However, Pangu team has not publicly announced jailbreak tool for iOS 10 and chose to remain silent since few months.

It is rumored that Pangu has either developed a tool for iOS 10 jailbreak or it failed to break the highly secured iOS10. The Hacking group may be waiting for an opportune time to release it or wait for iOS 10.2 update in December 2016, to develop a new jailbreak tool.

Concurrently, hacker Luca Tedesco, asserted that he successfully jailbroken the latest iOS 10.1 and even posted it on twitter to ratify his claims, reportsGameNGuide. Upon this announcement, many fans urged Luca Tedesco to collaborate with Pangu team and release a jailbreak tool for iOS 10.

However, unconfirmed rumors state that Luca Tedesco may not join the Pangu team as he alone jailbroken earlier version of Apple iOS. Pangu team may release its own jailbreak tool for iOS 10 somewhere in early 2017.

Whatever it might be, jailbreak tools once again prove the vulnerability of Apple operating system. Hopefully, Apple will come up software patches sooner than later to prevent further jailbreaks.
