Pokemon Sun And Moon Has Downgraded The Legendary Fire/Fly Pokemon
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" was released on November 18, 2016. Numerous fans in Japan and the US have been rushing to their nearest game stores and shopping malls to get their hands on the game. It was indeed a shocking discovery for them to find that one of their favorite Pokemon is not going to be in the game anymore.
No Beast Mode for Talonflame
There had been several rumors even before the release of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon," which have been proven to be true in the special demo that revealed the new Pokemon in the Alola region and introduction of the new Alola forms of the Generation 1 Pokemon.
However, yet another discovery from the game has left most of the veteran players in shock and distress. Players discovered that the Talonflame Pokemon will not anymore be a beast in the Sun and Moon version. Talonflame was a legendary Pokemon in the previous titles- Pokemon X/Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
The Talonflame Pokemon
Talonflame, the fire/flying type Pokemon sporting a Flaming Body and Gale Wings as its abilities are the final evolution of avian Fletchling, a Pokemon X/Y Kalos Regional bird. The Talonflame Pokemon looks like a falcon and dives at 310 miles per hour speeds to attacks the enemy with its legendary damaging kicks while battling its foes.
Talonflame Nerfed in Pokemon Sun and Moon
Talonflame's Gale Wings ability increases the "priority of Flying-type moves by one" which made him a really popular one in the 2014 VGC Championships. However, Pokemon Sun and Moon has reduced the effectiveness of Talonflame.
Unlike the previous games, Talonflame's Gale Wings Ability in Pokemon Sun and Moon, will work only when it is in full health. Due to this, Talonflame's powers can be easily nullified by Spikes and Stealth Rock after its first move.
Unfortunately, the Flying-type Pokemon will not be as efficient as it was in its previous games. However, it is not yet a goodbye for Talonflame!
