Looks like luck is on the side of Players who have been desperately waiting for Rocksteady Studios' glorious game, Arkham Batman. The "Batman: Return To Arkham," is a remastered bundle of the first two games in the series and it was finally released this October. The game's release was initially scheduled for July 26, however, its developer Virtuous Games had taken some more time to add finishing touches to the game.

Like so many other games in the market, "Batman: Return to Arkham" developers Virtuous Games released a stealth update that enabled PS4 Pro support for the game.

Digital Foundry Reports on the Update

According to the words from Digital Foundry, though the Batman Return to Arkham PS4 Pro support is supposed to be a good move for the game, the outcome has not been as great as expected by many. Even with the 31 percent increase in CPU power advantage of the PS4Pro over PS4 Pro, the game has not been performing any great.

Digital Foundry had tested the game and identified that though certain scenes in the game where with the improved performance, the PS4 Pro scarcely managed a 6FPS boost over base PS4 once again becoming a witness to the biggest issue faced in Sony's latest console powered by the AMD Jaguar CPUs.

The Frame-Rate issue

As the performance of the new PS4 Pro while playing on 1080peven with added power is being hampered by its CPU, it turns out that the device does not hold great value for money. In Batman Return to Arkham's issue with PS4 Pro, it is an even-more harder hit as it not only makes the performance boost insignificant but also downgrades some scenes in the Arkham City to 30FPS.

There has not been any official PS4 Pro support patch from the developers for this stealth update, considering the fact that the update is not an actual one.
