‘The Flash’ Season 3 Episode 7 Recap: Doctor Alchemy’s Identity Revealed, Super Villain Is Not The Enemy

Although Killer Frost was the centerpiece of Tuesday's episode of "The Flash", yet the reveal of Doctor Alchemy's identity was what kept the fans intrigued and made the show stellar.

The episode started with Barry unable to calm Caitlin's Killer Frost persona. This led him to implore Julian to not turn her over to the police, reported Entertainment Weekly. Julian decided to seize the opportunity by making Barry promise that he would quit CCPD.

This leaves the lab to Julian, whose secret is safe since he has been hiding the Doctor Alchemy costume in that laboratory. Meanwhile, while recovering from the attack of Killer Frost, Julian hears Doctor Alchemy calling out to him.

He tries to escape the calling and comes face to face with Savitar. On the other hand, the God of Motion asks Julian to be his servant so that Savitar can be brought back, and viewers come to know that Julian is Doctor Alchemy, according to Observer.

Incidentally, this is not much of a surprise for "The Flash" fans because they have been anticipating that from last few episodes. However, this does not mean that the story writers of do not have a few tricks still left for the viewers.

"Hopefully, if we ever did anything everybody suspected for a while, there'd still be a twist," executive producer Greg Berlanti said when he was asked if Julian is indeed Doctor Alchemy.

However, it is still not known if Julian knows that Barry is "The Flash" and his archrival. It seems viewers will have to wait for the winter finale where heroes of "Legends of Tomorrow", "Supergirl", "Arrow" and Team "Flash" will be having a crossover. It seems that the fans are in for a surprise in the crossover.

"The Flash" is aired on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CW. Tune into CounselHeal for further updates on the show.
