One Plus 3's upgraded version with added battery and camera tweaks, announced on Nov. 15, 2016, named as OnePlus 3T is the new rival to Samsung's flagship Galaxy S7. The one Plus 3T is expected to hit the Market in a weeks' time. Here is a comparison of the two smartphone Titans, to help users on deciding which phone they can opt for.

Design: The One Plus 3T comes with a metallic design of two colors, Gunmetal and Soft Gold. The phone weighs 158g, with a slim profile of just 7.35mm.

On the other hand Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a glass front and back, with a metal trim. It is about 0.55mm thicker than OnePlus 3T which is negligible with the lightweight the phone offers. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is fully water-proof.

Screen: The OnePlus 3T smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display on an AMOLED screen, which is certainly bigger than Samsung Galaxy S7. However, Samsung Galaxy S7 offers higher QHD resolution, becoming the best device for experiencing VR.

Software: Both OnePlus 3T and Galaxy S7 runs on Android Marshmallows and are yet to receive the Nougat update. While Samsung is testing the OS in its Galaxy Beta Program, it is strange that the yet to be released OnePlus 3T does not come with Android Nougat out of the box. OnePlus 3T will come with the OxygenOS, a light skin version with a handful of additional features, like the quick-access tray. Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a heavier TouchWiz OS, packed with a number of Apps and features including the split-screen apps which will be available in OnePlus 3T only upon Android Nougat update.

Hardware: The real advantage for users in OnePlus 3T lies in its hardware which is powered by Qualcomm's brand new Snapdragon 821 chip. This means that the OnePlus 3T will be compatible with Google DayDream VR after the Nougat update. Also, Snapdragon 821 is 10 percent faster than Snapdragon 820. Added high end specs of the OnePlus 3T includes a lofty 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and a 3,400mAh battery with quick charge facility for a whole day's power in just 30 minutes of charging. The phone comes with the latest USB Type C charge facility.

On the other hand Samsung Galasy S7 is powered by Snapdragon 820, equipped with 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and 3000 mAh battery.

Camera: Both the primary and secondary camera of the OnePlus 3T offer 16-megapixel resolutions and f/2.0 apertures. The primary camera also has OIS (optical image stabilization), and a comparatively better resolution to the secondary camera. Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a 12-megapixel primary camera along with Samsung's new Dual Pixel technology and f/1.7 aperture.
