Advance Ticket Sales Too Much For Fandango

Shortly after the site started selling tickets online, the customers reportedly had to deal with time-outs, long waiting times and failures in accessing Fandango. However, those purchasing tickets via Fandango's mobile app had no problem at all.
The site came up with a remedy by creating a "digital wait room". This served as an online queue for managing traffic. But Fansided reported that even that turned out to be problematic.
