Alexis Bledel Confirmed ‘The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 3’ Is In The Works
On Monday, on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Alexis Bledel revealed that The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 3 is in the works.
According to an Entertainment Weekly report, after dishing about those last four words in the Gilmore Girls revival, Bledel confidently asserted that she and her co-stars, Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively and America Ferrera would all love to do the third installment of The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants.
"We would all love to do it. I think it would be so much fun. We talk about it. I think we should absolutely do it. We're working on it, so we'll see if it happens," said Bledel on The Tonight Show.
Fallon jumped at the talk of the reunion of The Sisterhood Of Traveling Pants, offering his own original ideas to contribute to the film. He proposed for an all-male version of the film, showcasing brotherhood between him, Kevin Hart, Paul Rudd and Mark Gosselaar. Bledel really seemed to enjoy Fallon's proposition as she laughed at the idea.
Fallon had further inputs for the third installment of The Sisterhood Of Traveling Pants as he narrated them to Bledel in the show. He came up with an idea for the film wherein all sisters are now older and while they are talking to each other, one goes, "Wait, who has the pants?"
He added that someone's kid is wearing the pants, or maybe someone's mom is wearing the pants. The pants could even be put on a scarecrow and turned into a horror movie, said Fallon.
Bledel's comments on The Tonight Show on The Sisterhood Of Traveling Pants fall very much in line with hints dropped by her Sisterhood co-star, Blake Lively recently, Cosmopolitan reported. According to the publication, Lively said that there is a strong chance there might be a third.
Lively further added that the four of them (Bledel, Ferrera, Lively, Tamblyn) are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream for them.
