The on-screen couple from 'This Is Us' cast members Milo Ventimiglia and Many Moore had driven the fans to a frenzy as the chemistry between the two was quite apparent. In fact, Moore just earned her first Golden Globe nomination for her role in the series. Thanks to Ventimiglia, both brought the love interest chemistry off-screen as she was told by her co-star about her recent achievement.

During an interview with Erin Lim, 'This Is Us' cast member, Mandy Moore, revealed that her co-star, Milo Ventimiglia was the one who told her about the Golden Globe nomination. It was early in the morning when she woke up with her boyfriend who was bound for an early flight when she received Ventimiglia's text which read, "Congratulations," reported E! Online.

Per the "This Is Us" actress, she was dumbfounded as to what her co-star was referring to. When she asked for what the greeting was and asked if it was the show that got nominated, Ventimiglia then revealed her nomination as "Best Supporting Performance by an Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film."

When asked about how Ventimiglia broke the news to his co-star, he revealed that he felt he was obliged to tell his on-screen wife that, "Honey, you're being honored and I'm so proud of you." Although he was overlooked for his role, he still felt deeply honored that three of his co-stars were nominated for an award. In fact, he manifested that the awards were a group effort.

Apart from the "This Is Us" cast members getting nominated for acting awards, the show was also considered for the "Best Drama Series," the network's first nomination in 10 long years, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Astounded with her first nomination, "This Is Us" cast member, Mandy Moore, was happy to learn from on-screen husband, Milo Ventimiglia, that she had been honored and that her love interest in the series is proud of her. Awww.
