A promotional trailer showed "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers for its second half. The clip showed several spoilers for fans to ponder upon. One of which is Rick and Daryl scheming to take Negan off power. What can fans expect for next year?

The recently released promotional trailer showed "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers purporting to Rick and Daryl are finally teaming up to take the notorious Negan down. As the network released the clip, it was also announced that the second half of the series would have eight episodes to go until its season finale.

Lodged as the number one show on television for five consecutive times, "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers point to the underdogs standing up against Negan after he had left the group broken and divided when Glenn died, reported Comingsoon.net. A rebellion can be expected in the upcoming "Hamilton" episode for next year.

Apart from "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers from the released clip, promotional photos were also revealed to the public by the network. Hamilton as the star of the poster, series executive producer, Gale Ann Hurd revealed to Variety that Hamilton's powerful image was the fitting preview for what's to come on the series' second half.

She also revealed that Rick's awakening was all thanks to Spencer. Although he hated Spencer in the series, "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers revealed that he was Rick's only option to take Negan down. In fact, after Olivia had died, he had considered plotting with Spencer since he was also awakened through his conversation with Michonne. With several characters dreading the rule of Negan, Daryl was also all ears to what the group had planned against the bat-man.
