'Rogue One A Star Wars Story' Updates: 'Star Wars' Spin-off Features New Creatures and Aliens [VIDEO]
"A long time ago in galaxy far, far away..." "Star Wars" fans are excited for the upcoming film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The spin-off features new creatures and aliens.
New true-to-life, moving creatures will be a sight to see in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." IGN released a new video showcasing some of the fanscinating creatures that will pop up in this "Star Wars" spin-off. The creatures vary in different shapes and sizes, from being small to obese, from furry to being hairless.
Like many fans, creature effects supervisor, Neal Scanlan also grew up with the epic space opera George Lucas created. He said he had never imagined to be actually working in the set one day. He highlights the awesome features of the aliens, the amazing and vital lifelike effect creatures in " Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The key signs prove it's the world of "Star Wars." Alan Tudyk also appears in the video telling the viewers how impressed he is with all of the creatures in the film. He portrays new droid K-2S0. Jyn Erso, played by actress Felicity Jones, can be seen leading his troop into battle.
In pursuit of stealing the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction to the Death Star, an ordinary group of people, intervene and join on a mission altogether in a time of conflict. They decided to do extraordinary things in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, " this becomes a part of something greater than themselves, Slashfilm reported.
" Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta and starred by Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker among others.
"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will hit the theaters in Dec. 16.
