‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 72 Update & Rumor: V-Jump Mag Accidentally Reveals Who’s Behind Goku’s Assasination [SPOILER]

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 72 leads to a very interesting plot as the main hero, Son Goku, was severely attacked by Hit. However, the incident may not have been intentional, but conspired.

Although rumors suggest that Goku's character will meet his end during episode 71, some insiders believe that it cannot happen due to his super saiyan ingenuity. Additionally, many believe that Goku is ahead of his enemies when he blasted a Ki before his heart dies out. This powerful energy could help Goku survive and embark into a new fight against Hit in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 72, Inquistr wrote.

While the question on Goku's survival seems to be easily answerable, a bigger puzzle remains to be unsolved. Who ordered Hit to assassinate Goku?

V-Jump Mag Answers

Japanese anime/manga-themed magazine V-Jump Mag has accidentally hinted the identity of Goku's conspirator in its "Dragon Ball Super" episode 72 summary feature. In its brief teaser, somebody very recognizable can be seen behind Hit's attack on Goku.

The teaser pointed out that Vados, who hired Hit to kill Goku, was acting as a representative on behalf of someone else. As there are only limited bits of information, fans have easily called out names of who it could possibly be, and Beerus and Whis are two of the guesses.

This may have been prefigured in Episode 71, when the God of Destruction wanted Goku to train rigorously for the upcoming Omniverse Tournament. The pressure is high as the Omni-King will be presenting the event and inviting only the greatest combatants in the Dragon Ball multiverse.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 72 'Counterattack: An Invisible Assassination Skill" will be airing on Christmas Day, according to Latin Post.
