Camila Cabello took to her own Twitter account and broke her silence about not being informed about the announcement and that she had already planned to pursue a solo career, a plan that was made aware to the other members even as early as November.

Last Sunday night, the news Camila Cabello leaving Fifth Harmony broke the hearts of their fans when it was posted on the girl band's official Twitter account. The statement claimed that Cabello informed the group of her decision through her representatives. 

Devastated by how the announcement was done without her knowledge, Cabello went on her Twitter account and clarified that her bandmates knew of her choice as she told them personally, not coursed through other people. 

Her post read, "I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing. The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much-needed conversations about the future that we had during [the] tour," reported Billboard.

Consequently, an insider confirmed the claims of Cabello as she had already been separated from group activities for the past month. In fact, while Fifth Harmony was on tour, she had already hired a therapist to go with her. There was even an instance where the girls were made to perform without her as Cabello bowed out due to anxiety attacks.

In other news, Yahoo! Music reported that the rest of Fifth Harmony would continue on with their tour and as a group of four without Camila Cabello. After four years of being a group, they had continued to perform on iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball Tour which recently ended last Sunday night, Cabello's last performance as a member of Fifth Harmony.

Furthermore, the rest of the group had also made known to their fans that while being Fifth Harmony, they will likewise have separate solo careers. In fact, Cabello herself had started with her solo act in recent months with the song "Power in Me" which was produced by Machine Gun Kelly.
