It's the most wonderful time of the year for the children in the Los Angeles Children's Hopital as celebrity couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom disguised as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus paid them a visit on Monday. 

The hospital's Facebook page has uploaded a few photos of the couple's visit as they serenaded the audience and even sang a duet to a fan. They also distributed presents and willingly posed for pictures with the patients and their families. 

Their kind gesture has brought many smiles and laugther among patients. One mother was even more delighted since during their visit, she received news about her son's discharge from the hospital, US Weekly reported. 

UNICEF Duties

The two UNICEF supporters and ambassadors also went pre-Christmas shopping and tried to remain low key as they did their quick errands.  

Last month, the "Roar" singer was honored during UNICEF's Snowflake Ball held in New York and received an award from Hillary Clinton for her support for the organization. Bloom was also in attendance, and said nothing but praises for his girlfriend, according to DailyMail. 

She returned the favor and described her boyfriend as having the "most kind heart ever".

Katy Perry and Orland Bloom first met at one of the after parties during the Golden Globes in January. Since being spotted cozying up to each other, rumors began spreading of their budding relationship. 

They attempted to hide their romance but went public for the first time during Coachella, held in California in April. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom officially came out as a couple on Instagram a month later.
