'Dragon Quest 11' News & Update: Will Probably Be Launched In 2017
“Dragon Quest XI” is coming to PlayStation 4 and 3DS but unfortunately, even though Nintendo confirmed the Switch version is preparing, Square Enix didn’t mention anything. The company’s logo is not on the game’s trailer either. However, fans are excited and eagerly waiting for the game to launch when they already started speculating how will it look like.
While nothing is for sure about Nintendo Switch’s version of “Dragon Quest XI,” fans are speculating about the ones that are already confirmed and ready to launch. There is ongoing speculation that the world in which fans could play and enjoy, will be rather enormous. The platforms are very interesting and Takeshi Uchikawa said he wanted to make a massive world that will be compared to previous chapters in the series. The official release date is still not official, but the development team said they will probably be able to release the game on the 20th anniversary of “Dragon Quest” series. It's believed that there will be a Switch version but it will launch later than 3DS and PlayStations 4’s. If the development team manage to release the game on the anniversary, fans are looking forward to May 26, 2017, Gaming Bolt reported.
As Forbes reported, the euphoria for “Dragon Quest XI” is bigger and bigger every day. This game is very important in Japan since it taps into the long-running “Dragon Quest” series. The game will run on PlayStation 4 and 3DS and probably Nintendo Switch. Even though Square Enix still haven’t confirmed the Switch version, Nintendo Switch took the liberty and said the Switch version is in works but it will probably launch later than PS4’s and 3DS.
Square Enix decided to surprise fans of “Dragon Quest” will releasing two trailers for the game. The first trailer is the game’s opening cinematic and will be nostalgic for RPG fans while the other splits into two different parts, one is for PlayStation 4’s version while the other is for 3DS’ version.
