After Annalise’s (Viola Davis) golden boy, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) was found dead in the fire that caught her house, the biggest surprise to fans was when they found out he was actually killed before the fire. Fans started speculating immediately after the twist who could have been the killer, but the writers of the show have something else prepared.

In 2017, when the show will return fans will get the chance to see in flashbacks where was Wes in the last episode and what did he do. The team identified the man under the white sheet as Wes Gibbins but they had to face another twist, he was already dead. The killer will be revealed in the upcoming episodes on ABC, according to International Business Times. Wes represented a key character in the show and he has been the second most important character right after Annalise Keating. It is suspected that the death of Wes has something to do with Annalise’s past. Fans thought that the focus on Annalise’s relationship with Wes was getting a little bit boring but they never suspected he will die this soon. A lot of speculations popped up and suicide was one of them. Pete Nowalk, the mastermind who created the show revealed there is a possibility Wes killed himself.

As Entertainment Weekly reported, the cast was shocked and couldn’t stop crying for hours when they found out Wes will be the one who will die in the show “How To Get Away With Murder.” They are preparing themselves emotionally for what will the show look like without him around. They are also scared about the storyline, how will it continue and what will happen next?

According to N4BB, there is good news, after all, Wes Gibbins’ fans will get to see him in action again as he returns in “How To Get Away With Murder” in flashback scenes. In the upcoming episodes, it I s expected the mystery about Wes’ death to be resolved. Wes could be Laurel’s baby father, but there are ongoing speculations that Laurel’s baby won’t survive due to intense physical and emotional trauma and the explosion in Annalise’s house.
