PlayStation Plus Update: Games, DLCs Confirmed For Release In January 2017; First Free PlayStation VR, PS4 Titles In The Works?
Sony is set to announce its PlayStation Plus January 2017 games lineup in the coming week. The Japanese tech giant will release games and DLC for PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PS VR. This brand new line-up of titles will be made available for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
According to the website Playstation Lifestyle, the confirmed games and DLCs are coming out on separate dates. There will be additions or delays in scheduling, so the website keeps the list of titles updated.
"MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore 2017 Official Track Edition" for PS4 will be sold by retailers in North America (NA) and Europe (E) on January 4. "Hatsume Miku: Project Diva Future Tone" for PS4 will be available online at PlayStation Network(PSN) on January 10 for NA and EU subscribers.
Scheduled for January 31 release are "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" 'Sabotage' DLC for PS4, "Divide" also for PS4, and "Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers" for PS4 and PS Vita. All of them can be accessed on PSN. "Hitman: The Complete First Season" can be purchased at brick-and-mortar retailers for PS4.
For January 24, multiple games will be ready for PS4 gamers in NA and EU. Some of them include "Moto Racer 4," "Yakuza 0," "Tales of Berseria," and "Resident Evil 7" biohazard. "Kingdom of Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is also set for the same date.
The December PlayStation Plus lineup was bannered by "Stories: The Path of Destinies" and "Invisible Inc" on PS4. These games were also joined by "Hyper Void" and "Tiny Troopers Joint Ops" on PS3, and "Color Guardians" and "VVVVVV" on PlayStation Vita.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Sony might announce its latest roster of free games on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on December 28. The freebies will only last until for a week or until January 3, which is the date set for the launch of Sony's PlayStation Plus January 2017 lineup. There is also a possibility of adding virtual reality games to PS Plus, according to Sony.
