Strange Frequencies From Space Proof Of Alien Life? Stephen Hawking Warns Of Seeking Contact With Extraterrestrial Civilizations
Six new mysterious blasts of radio energy have just been detected 3 billion years away. Scientists said that it only lasted milliseconds but generated the same energy that the Sun will produce in an entire day.
Scientists have already heard 16 powerful radio signals or otherwise known as fast radio bursts from space but scientists are still confused on what is causing these mysterious blasts. First discoveries of the FRBs were in 2007 and an estimated 2,000 FRBs fly across the Universe every day.
Experts believed that the FRBs are likely coming from "an exotic object" like a young neutron star that rotates with so much power, it can produce extremely bright pulses. UFO expert, Nigel Watson, said that "the FRBs that were detected could be a possible vast alien communication network."
But the famous Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking warned that humanity should be wary of seeking out contact with alien civilizations. He also added that if humanity would likely discover aliens, it would just probably wipe out planet Earth. Hawkings explained that if humanity would make contact with any aliens, it would be alike when the Native Americans first met Christopher Columbus that didn't turn out so well for the people being visited.
Meanwhile, together with a group researchers led by Paul Scholz from Canada, a graduate student at the Department of Physics at McGill University said, "We have detected six additional radio bursts from this source: five with the Green Bank Telescope at 2 GHz, and one at 1.4 GHz with the Arecibo Observatory, for a total of 17 bursts from this source."
But everyone is still baffled if aliens are really making contact with planet Earth. If it's true, is it a good thing? A few scientists say it is a good thing, while others disagree. Some physicists are convinced that if aliens will discover Earth, they will probably conquer and colonize the planet.
