This January, fans can see Metz on "This is Us" when USA airs a marathon beginning January 7. The plus-size actress who plays Kate in "This is Us" shared that bullies are often misunderstood and are most likely dealing with issues themselves. She admitted that she herself has been a victim of bullying, especially online. The actress is active on social media. Art imitates life for "This is Us" star Chrissy Metz, as she admitted that Kate's journey is hers as well, that's why she identified with the character so much upon reading the script.
The 36-year-old "This Is Us" star admitted how her contract with NBC entailed shedding some pounds down the road, as it is indeed part of Kate's story, Daily Mail reported. According to Entertainment Weekly, "This is Us" star Chrissy Metz, as well as her on-screen mother Mandy Moore are both nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category. They are up against "The Night Manager" star Olivia Colman, "Game of Thrones" actress Lena Headey, and "Westworld" star Thandie Newton. Catch the "This is Us" 10-episode marathon on USA this January 7.
