'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, & News: Winter Finale Brings Craig Robinson Back As Pontiac Bandit
Just when you thought there aren't any more "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 episodes to enjoy, FOX gives us viewers a two-hour finale this January 1st. The Andy Samberg starrer will have its winter finale on New Year's Day, during which the show is bringing back Craig Robinson. You read that right, Doug Judy A.K.A. the Pontiac Bandit is set to return to the 99th precinct.
The last time fans saw Craig Robinson as the elusive Pontiac Bandit, he was on a cruise ship, working as a singer. After Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Det. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) defeated the man who was after Judy, however, he managed to escape the cops yet again. This time, Craig Robinson is returning as the Pontiac Bandit, and it begs the question, is he finally going to get arrested in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4?
Entertainment Weekly reports that Robinson's Pontiac Bandit has escaped Jake and the squad a total of three times already. If you're a Michael Schur fan, you would know that the guest stars on his shows eventually become regular guest stars, which means they annually return. In the one-hour winter finale of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4, viewers will get to see Jake and Judy team up once again, this time to hunt down escaped prisoners.
In other Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 news, E! News reports that former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will guest star in the winter finale of the show as well. He will play a witness in the escape of prisoners and will aid Jake and the squad in their hunt.
Lynch shared that his character in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 is a bit of an oversharer, as you can see in the promotional video below. The two-hour winter finale airs on New Year's Day at 8:30 p.m. on FOX.
