Yalu iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Latest News & Update: Lucas Todesco Finally Comes Out With Apple Crack For Select iPhone Devices
After showing off most of his iOS jailbreak success, hacker Lucas Todesco has finally come out with a credible tool for the Apple Jailbreaking Community. Though the tool is far from perfect, it is the best thing since folks saw that iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak from Pangu.
Todesco, in collaboration with Ian Beer, have come up with the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool which only works for the iPhone 7, 6s and iPad Pro. It is initially available as a .ipa file which can eventually be installed on any Apple device. Technically, the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool is in the beta stages. Hence, bugs are to be expected. That includes inadvertently terminating some applications or even forcing Apple devices to reboot at random.
That said, Apple devices could also end up being compromised by the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak. Todesco has warned that version 4-1 is the one that supports the Cydia app but cautioned that it still not stable. Folks who dare to try out the crack can download it from the Yalu website here. While that should be something, attention has now shifted to iOS 10.2. With Apple trimming down the operating systems that can be signed, an iOS 10.2 jailbreak may not be far behind.
Following Todesco’s footsteps, Stefan Esser could be on to something. For those who don’t know him, Esser has had jailbreaking mileage in the past. On whether he is working on an iOS 10.2 jailbreak remains sketchy at this point, seeing he may be doing nothing more than trolling, Forbes reported.
Regardless, the attention right now is on the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak of Todesco. It may be far from perfect but the best one the Apple Jailbreaking Community can bank on. With the crack limited to the most recent devices from the Cupertino company, it will be interesting if older iPhone models can score a breakthrough as well.
