‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Promo Materials Ramp Up Hype For Sequel
“Red Dead Redemption 2” is expected to come out by the Fall though details on what to expect from the game have been limited. Rockstar Games has been kept busy with other game titles though a recent marketing blitz indicates the hype will be kept afloat.
Promo materials for “Red Dead Redemption 2” started to make its way out in the open, a tactic believed to assure fans that the sequel will come out later this year as planned, GameRant reported. To date, that and the official trailers are the only ones out in the open though added information are expected to pick up in the coming months.
Looking over Rockstar Games history of releasing games, critics are leaving some room for potential delays for “Red Dead Redemption 2”. The game developer has been notorious for pushing back game releases, “Grand Theft Auto 5” in particular. GTA 5 was originally set for release in early 2013 but the game eventually came out in the Fall of that year.
With “Red Dead Redemption 2” set for the Fall, is there a chance that Rockstar Games pushes it to 2018 instead? The answer to that lies solely on Rockstar Games though the lack of updates for “Red Dead Redemption 2” has sent mixed signals to gamers. Though still early, most are looking back to the case of GTA 5 for comparison.
A clearer picture should set in soon on the actual state of “Red Dead Redemption 2”. There are apparently a lot of folks eager to see what journeys John Marston will carry in presumably bigger maps in the western world. As mentioned in a previous post, some are concerned about the integration of online mode for “Red Dead Redemption 2”. Most believe that this may hurt the actual game campaigns, particularly the single player campaigns its predecessor enjoyed.
