‘Girl Meets World’ Season 4 Cancellation Update: Writers Denies Cancellation Despite Rider Strong’s Words, Fans Fear For Series’ Future
It's looking bleaker for "Girl Meets World" season 4 but fans refuse to give up just yet. Rider Strong recently revealed that the "Boy Meets World" spinoff series will be coming to an end! However, writers denied such claims.
"Girl Meets World" season 4 may not air if Shawn Hunter's words should be true, E! Online noted. Strong, who portrayed Shawn Hunter in the original and later on appeared in the spinoff series, claim that Disney Channel is about to come to an end. On his podcast, Literary Disco, he revealed that the series ended after the production of season three. Is it really going to be the last of "Girl Meets World?"

Strong confirmed that they're done filming "Girl Meets World" season 3. Together with his brother, they directed a lot of episodes for the alleged final season. He even appeared in some of them. He finished off by saying that the series has finally ended. As such, "Girl Meets World" season 4 was never renewed by Disney Channel
As expected, fans freaked out after hearing the news that "Girl Meets World" season 4 won't get aired. This prompted writers of the series to calm their fans in several posts following Strong's revelations, Screen Crush added. Not directly denying claims of Strong, the writers strongly implied that season 3 is not the end for the beloved spinoff series. In fact, the writers stressed that Disney Channel hasn't released any official statement regarding the cancellation or renewal of season 4.
As of publication, Disney Channel has declined to comment on Strong's words. Fans are still in a limbo as to the real state of "Girl Meets World" season 4. Nevertheless, fans can still look forward to three amazing episodes left this month. The series will return on January 6 with an hour-long special on Disney Channel.
