All eyes are now on CES 2017 where a ton load of new devices and tech solutions are expected to take center stage. LG is expected to show off their stuff and it will not solely focus on their mobile solution line.

Instead, LG is expected to showcase its new artificial intelligence line which includes robots designed for home use at CES 2017. And on that note alone, it is clear that LG intends to give the Amazon Echo and the Google Home a run for their money with their new AI solutions. LG’s dish will be known as the “Hub Root” whose capabilities will be demonstrated around one’s home.

But the robotic line is not plainly to impress homeowners but also the commercial scene. There will be AIs designed for commercial use, all happening at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, LG reported. As far as the home-based AIs are concerned, expected to be shown are the robots which can do chores inside and out.

This includes one attending to the yard and garden of folks which should further pamper consumers in the modern age, Mobile Syrup reported. The new line of LG robotics set to be released at CES 2017 appends the company’s previous attempt. Back in 2012, LG tested Quick Voice in Korea – their own personal assistant to compete against Apple’s Siri and the Samsung S Voice.

The LG personal assistant underwent name changes from there. After initially being known as the Q Voice, it was later on known as the Voice Mate. Among its functions include gather stock prices, news, weather, sports scores and handle tasks such as sending texts and conducting web searches. The robot collection will be unveiled at the LG CES press conference happening on Jan. 4 starting at 8:00 a.m. PST from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
