The title for "Call of Duty" 2017 has been plaguing many of its fans but game creators have finally given out juicy details about the upcoming game. Sledgehammer Games, the developer of the "Call of Duty" titles, is starting the year with a bang with teasers for its the upcoming title.
"Call of Duty" 2017 game developers took to Twitter to tease fans of the upcoming title and its release date, Attack of a Fanboy reported. The third title of the Call of Duty franchise is expected to roll out around November of this year. Sledgehammer Games gave fans a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming title. The cryptic New Year's tweet is enough to inspire fans to speculate many things about the game.
Following the Sledgehammers Games' tweet about the "Call of Duty" 2017, many fans believe that it may be set in the 10th century, PC Gamer said. While a few of Youtubers believe that the studio may just have been overwhelmed with the coming New Year, there were previous tweets that are teasing details of the upcoming title. Sledgehammer co-founder and studio head Michael Condrey also posted a poster on Twitter. It featured an image of an iconic 20th-century pistol, the M1911 prompting fans to arrive at the rumored time setting.

However, if Sledgehammer Games decide to go through with an early 20th-century shooter for "Call of Duty" 2017, then it could potentially face similar problems with "Battlefield 1" game. The latter is currently facing a lack of varied options for weapons to choose from after it veered back in time with its World War 1 setting. Fans hope that "Call of Duty" 2017 should be heading to the same time if not to Vietnam War.
