Apple is expected to unleash a new batch of tablets in March and that may include the iPad Air 3. The Cupertino company has yet to update this tablet line, the last of which took place two years ago. The refresh may finally be taking place in the coming months. With a new line of iPads coming, the latest word out is that the iPad Air 3 will be debuting alongside the plethora of tablets.

The upcoming batch will be highlighted by the iPad Mini 5 or a smaller iPad Pro, MacOtakara reported. Based on previous reports, it is believed that Apple will be unleashing three iPad Pro models each varying in size. That includes a 9.7-, 10.9- and 12.9-inch models which will cater to different niches. The 10.9-inch variant is expected to be the recommended buy of the mix.

Among the potential specs of the iPad Air 3 include a tablet sporting an HD 4K display, Apple pencil integration and the potential iteration of the 3.5 mm jack. Internally, it will sport an A9 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and either 16 or 32 GB of storage. Most of the speculated features are believed to be taken from the iPhone 7, Neurogadget reported.

While an iPad Air 3 coming is up for debate, there are more pressing matters in the table. That includes possibly seeing the last tablet of the series due to poor reception and performance of the previous iPad Air predecessors. Aside from that, there is the redundancy of the tablet line.

Most are under the impression that the iPad Pro could very well absorb most of the underperforming tablets which may be re-invented under the successful tablet line. Either way, the iPad Air 3 faithful will be keeping close tabs for a possible coming. With two months ago, the wait for the long overdue tablet may finally be over.
