Most are eager to see when the Apple Watch 3 will be invading the scene and recent dishes could provide most with a point of reference. The word out is that the next Apple wearable is due for release in the third quarter of 2017.

If so, this means that the next wearable from Apple may come out alongside the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s devices, according to the Economic Daily News, which was reported by Digitimes. The schedule is plausible seeing that this is the usual time frame of release from the Cupertino company. There will be expected improvements for the upcoming Apple Watch 3. Performance is expected to be addressed, same with the longevity of use with reference to the wearable’s battery life.

The Apple Watch 2 can last for up to three days, something most believe is already adequate. Will the Cupertino company come up with a way to make it last longer? While improvements are expected from most devices when a successor is in the works, the level of upgrade is what most are curious about. For now, Apple has not totally divulged the improvements to expect, meaning most may want to lower their expectations a bit.

That said, the features of the Apple Watch 3 will be closely monitored. Adding a lot of functionalities and features is welcome but frowned upon if the device fails to last longer, BGR reported. This normally takes a load off the device, a fact that has plagued certain devices like the erratic state of the MacBook Pro 2016 batteries. It may be a bit premature to speculate this early on whether the Apple Watch 3 will be a success or a bust.

The important thing is that a third-gen smartwatch is in the works, hopefully offering sane features most would need over its predecessor. Do take note that the speculated release of the Apple Watch 3 with a grain of salt for now. It is still too early in the year to get excited so expect the grapevine to return more potential features in the coming months.
