'Warcraft 2' SPOILERS: Director Duncan Jones Teases Orgrim Doomhammer's Larger Role In Possible Sequel

"Warcraft" may not have been the most successful film of 2016, but fans are still hoping that a sequel will be made in the future. Now director Duncan Jones has shared a few details about a possible "Warcraft 2" where Orgrim Doomhammer could play a bigger role as a major Orc character.

In "Warcraft", Orgrim Doomhammer appeared as a minor character as the film focused on Anduin Lothar, Garona Halforcen, King Llane Wrynn and Orc chieftain Durotan. However, it looks like Duncan Jones is still planning to give Orgrim a larger role as the new leader of the Frostwolf Clan in "Warcraft 2".

Duncan Jones' plans for "Warcraft 2" were revealed on Twitter as a fan reached out to the director asking what happened to Orgrim Doomhammer's Doomplate. Jones responded that the new armor could make an appearance in the possible sequel.

It would certainly make sense for Orgrim Doomhammer to eventually forge the Doomplate in "Warcraft 2", especially since Blackhand has already been killed in the first film. In addition to that, Duncan Jones also revealed that the sequel could focus on other "World of Warcraft" lands following the death of Llane Wrynn.

It is still unknown whether "Warcraft 2" will be developed or if Duncan Jones will return to helm the sequel. There have been speculations that the new movie will be made but will not be released in North America. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the second film will happen and will finally focus on Orgrim Doomhammer and his relationship to Durotan's son Thrall.
