iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Latest News & Update: Working Apps for Unstable Apple Crack Revealed

Lucas Todesco recently announced the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak for the Apple Jailbreaking Community though the crack was far from perfect. It was a semi-tethered version where only the version 4-1 offered support for Cydia.

As mentioned in a previous post, the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak is the best and only crack for the iOS 10 series. The only issue with it is that it is unstable and that users will have to re-jailbreak their devices once they restart their mobile devices. The crack only works for the iPhone 7/ 7 Plus, iPhone 6s/ 6s Plus and the iPad Pro. Despite the buggy iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak, there are several apps that can still work with the latest crack.

The list includes the likes of Cydia Substrate, PreferenceLoader, Substrate Safe mode, AdvancedSettings8, 3D Touch and 3D Switcher. For tweaks, there are apps like DeleteForever, Cydia Installer, Cylinder and CrashReporter which folks can use, Neurogadget reported. With Apple Jailbreaking fans hardly left with a choice, the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak will have to do at least for now. Another hacker, Stefan Esser, recently leaked that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak may be following soon, Forbes reported.

He claims that a group is now working on an iOS 10.2 jailbreak which should technically be taken lightly for now. Similar to Todesco, all folks care about is actually seeing a jailbreak come out in the open and not purely hearsay. Worth noting as well is that Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.1 and iOS 10.1.1. This has forced many to upgrade to iOS 10.2 with technically no way to revert to the previous iOS.

Some are still on iOS 10.1.1 for fear of bugs and issues. Among them include the celebrated battery drain that first plagued the iPhone 6s. That makes the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak something worth trying. For those who have already upgraded, there is nothing left to do but wait and see if the alleged iOS 10.2 jailbreak will indeed come out in the open.
