'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date: Aqua May Have Send The Keyblade From Realm Of Darkness To Sora In 'KH 3'
Fans have been searching for clues and hidden messages when an opening movie for "Kingdom Hearts" 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in HD, also known as the "Kingdom Hearts" 0.2 Birth by Sleep was released last year. The trailer revealed some sneak peeks as to what fans will be expecting from the much-awaited game and its possible connection to "Kingdom Hearts 3."
The very first scene of "Kingdom Hearts 3" showed Sora picking up the Master's Defender off the shore of Destiny Islands. This gave fans a hint that Aqua somehow sent the Keyblade from the Realm of Darkness to Destiny Islands. Similar to the way Kairi sent her letter in the bottle from Destiny Islands and it ended up in the Realm of Darkness at the end of "Kingdom Hearts 2."
With the recent "0.2 Birth By Sleep" opening cinematic, fans of the franchise got to see a scene right at the end with Sora's hand reaching out for Aqua's through the water. This must be a direct connection to "Kingdom Hearts 3." In a sense, this could mean a number of things. First of all, this could be a hint towards Sora saving Aqua. It is already known that at the end of "Kingdom Hearts" 0.2 Birth By Sleep, Aqua will finally be saved, it was just unknown as who will be the one to do so.
It could be possible that Sora return to Destiny Islands to find the Master's Defender on the beach or even Aqua washed off the shore. A possibility is that at the end of "Kingdom Hearts" 0.2 Birth By Sleep Aqua sends the Master's Defender from the dark margin and hope that it finds its way to Sora. The "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer revealed that "KH 3" is "currently in development and there is no word on the "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date yet.
"Kingdom Hearts" HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, on the other hand, will be available in PS4 on Jan. 24, 2017. With 2017 marking the franchinse's 15th year, many believed that "KH 3" will also be launched this year along with the other titles. Even though the popularity of "Kingdom Hearts 3" continues, the Square Enix games struggles to reach Top 5.
